1. Who pays for our recruiting service? Our fee is 100% paid by the Employer.
2. Is our service confidential? Yes, for both Employer and Job Seeker!
a. Employer - When a company seeks to fill a critical role without making it public, we will conduct a candidate search “under the radar.” During our recruiting process, all information and conversations with our client's designated representative are confidential.
b. Job Seeker - If an individual is starting a job search while currently employed, be assured our conversations and the information provided to us will be kept in strict confidence. Resumes are shared with our client companies only with the permission of the applicant.
3. What happens when a Job Seeker submits a resume to us?
When we receive a resume with salary history, it is reviewed promptly. If the background lends itself to the qualifications required for one of our current assignments, we'll reach out within a few days to set up a phone interview to become acquainted and review the background in detail for determining candidacy.
4. Do we maintain a resume database? Absolutely! When we receive resumes with backgrounds that do not match our current assignment requirements, it is promptly included in our database for future review and action. Please be sure when submitting a resume that it includes a home email address (not business).
5. Do we conduct searches for entry-level positions? No. Our market is geared toward more experienced Supply Chain professionals.
6. Do our clients provide sponsorship? No. At this time, our clients do not sponsor. Unfortunately, NSCS can only accept resumes from applicants who are authorized to work lawfully in the United States and reside in the United States.
7. Do our client companies require degrees? Yes. With rare exceptions, all candidates we present to our clients are degreed, often with advanced degrees and certifications.
8. Do our clients require a pre-employment physical? Usually, depending on the employer's hiring protocol. If a physical and/or drug test is required, the employer's offer letter will clearly state the specifics.
9. What is a job offer?
A job offer is usually in writing in the form of an offer Letter from the Employer to the Candidate stating Salary, Benefits, Bonus (if offered), relocation (if offered) responsibilities, start date, etc., and stating the number of days the candidate has to agree to the terms by signing and returning it to the Employer.
10. After receiving a job offer, when should a candidate give notice to their current employer? We advise candidates not to give notice until the Employer has received the offer letter, all employment matters (salary, benefits, start date, etc.) have been resolved, the candidate has signed and returned the written offer, and notification from the employer that the pre-employment physical and background check (if required) has been cleared and communicated to the candidate.
